PMV Nieuwjaarsreceptie 2025

PMV New Year’s Reception 2025.

800 stakeholders, one mission: kick off the year in style.

Every year, PMV sets the tone for the new year with a New Year’s Reception for their stakeholders. For the second year in a row, we ensured everything ran flawlessly at Docks Dome Brussels.

On January 9, 2025, no fewer than 800 guests gathered: ministers, parliament members, trade organizations, bankers, venture capitalists, CEOs, and CFOs — all with one goal: networking, making connections, and starting the year off right.

From registration to badges: we handled it all.

Live badge printing? Done. Setting up registration forms, tracking sign-ups, sending emails — we managed the entire administrative flow so PMV could focus on what truly matters: their guests.

Portfolio companies in the spotlight.

This year, eight PMV portfolio companies went all out: Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie, Ciao Cello, Filoes, Gimber, Poule & Poulette, SOBR, Thrive, and TJOP’S provided food, drinks, and tasty highlights between conversations.

The big challenge: silence in a buzzing room.

Imagine one large space, 800 people in lively conversation, eight company stands, and food and drinks everywhere. Then, Prime Minister Matthias Diependaele had to officially open the reception. How do you get such a crowd to go silent and pay attention?

Our approach: simple but effective.

We dimmed the lights, cut the music, and integrated a countdown clock via Bridgeneers into the video by Koen Kennis and Michel Casselman. The result? Immediate. The room went completely silent, all eyes on the stage. Speech delivered, mission accomplished.

An evening full of connections, engaging conversations, and the perfect start to a new year. Cheers to PMV!
