Life Day Baloise: one event, two languages, no stress.

For their annual Baloise Life Day, Baloise was looking for more than just an event partner. They needed a team that could handle every detail and help find the perfect venue. Ideally, one that goes the extra mile.

Enter Sylvester.

The right place makes all the difference.

We immediately dove into our extensive location database and landed on Docks Dome in Brussels — a venue full of potential, but one that needed some serious tailoring to meet the unique demands of the day.

The biggest challenge? Keeping the two language groups completely separate. Literally. The French-speaking participants were scheduled for the morning session, and the Dutch-speaking guests arrived in the afternoon. The two groups couldn’t cross paths at any point, which meant the logistics had to be absolutely airtight.

Both audiences followed the exact same program: a first training block, a coffee break in the entrance hall, a second session, and a closing reception — complete with DJ — just behind the plenary room.

The tightest turnaround came between the two sessions. As soon as the French-speaking guests left, our team had a narrow time window to reset the entire space for the larger Dutch-speaking group. Thanks to precise planning and seamless coordination, the transition was smooth as silk. The room was reconfigured with comfortable seating, small tables, and atmospheric lighting—DMX-controlled table lamps created a cozy, welcoming vibe.

Throughout the day, Baloise’s visual identity was carried through with thoughtful consistency. Guests were treated to cookies in the shape of the Baloise logo and cappuccinos topped with branded foam prints. From arrival to departure, every detail was considered—creating a professional look and a unique, memorable experience for the attending brokers.

Baloise Life Day was a success—both in content and execution. The event left a lasting impression and can proudly be described as a well-organized, impactful training day.
