SUMMER BY THE SEA 2024: ENJOYING TOGETHER
On 6 September 2024, we organized the second edition of Summer by the Sea for Port of Antwerp-Bruges. Around 400 colleagues gathered at the Pierre Vandammehuis in Zeebrugge for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the end of summer and look ahead to the coming autumn.
A FESTIVE START
The evening kicked off with an Ofyr BBQ, while the mobile cover band Rock-Au-Vin provided lively live music, immediately setting a festive mood for the guests. Even the cooler weather didn’t dampen spirits. Colleagues enthusiastically took part in a variety of activities, from petanque and darts tournaments to a round of pop-up mini-golf, or even a thrilling spikeball match.
PRACTICAL ORGANIZATION
Sylvester was responsible for the overall coordination of the event. From liaising with suppliers and planning the entertainment to managing all aspects on-site, everything ran smoothly and according to plan.
AN EVENING TO REMEMBER
With good food, live music, and a range of fun activities, it was an evening that Port of Antwerp-Bruges employees will remember for a long time. Summer by the Sea 2024 provided the perfect end to the summer, full of enjoyment and connection.
