Foreign investment trophy 2022.

On March 22nd, some 140 entrepreneurs from the international business world came to Technopolis in Mechelen for the jubilee edition (happy 10th anniversary!) of the Foreign Investment Trophy. FIT counted on event and production company Sylvester to design and organise the awards show!

FIT presented three awards to foreign companies with notable investment projects: CNH won the Lifetime Achievement Trophy, the Newcomer of the Year Trophy was awarded to Legend Biotech and Daikin Europe walked away with the Foreign Investment Trophy.

The latter, by the way, was chosen based on the points of the jury, a voting round in advance on the website as well as a voting round during the ceremony by those present in the room. The other nominated companies that just missed out on the main prize did not go home empty-handed either. An additional Lifetime Achievement Award went to Claire Tillekaerts. She is in her final year as CEO of FIT and her career and achievements were literally honoured.

British Katrina Sichel smoothly hosted the show, providing both exciting and funny moments in her very own style. Nothing but impressed attendees, including Prime Minister Jan Jambon, who presented the Lifetime Achievement Trophy, among others.

Sylvester provided a professional team to keep the show engaging and dynamic. Together with the saxophonist – who played in an impressive way and built the tension at the right moments – they made Technopolis swing all the way. After all, it is still a festive awards show!

Technopolis was covered in a stylish bright yellow with some black touches that evening. The flowers, plants and general look & feel of this event were very much to the client’s liking! With delicious snacks and a nice networking opportunity – because fortunately that is allowed again! – the event was festively concluded.
