On March 4 and 5, 2024, the European Conference for a Just Transition took place at the Egmont Palace. As part of the Belgian Presidency of the European Union, “Just Transition” was a priority for the Environment Council, and this conference brought together European leaders for two days filled with thought provoking questions and strong speakers. Under the leadership of Minister Zakia Khattabi (Climate, Environment, Sustainable Development and Green Deal), 330 participants gathered to discuss a fair transition. We supported the organization both in the pre operational phase and on site.

In the run up to the conference, we coordinated with the venue, technical partners, catering, and all other involved suppliers. Due to strict security requirements, it was crucial to arrange accreditations for everyone and to prepare a detailed run of show. Everything had to be perfectly in place before the first guest arrived.

During the event days, we ensured the client could focus entirely on the content. All communication with suppliers went through us, and we coordinated the technical aspects, including audio, screens, presentations, and videos, as well as the direction of the various sessions. This allowed Minister Khattabi and her team to concentrate on the discussions, while we made sure everything behind the scenes ran smoothly. From run of show to execution: handled.
