ARRIVAL OF SAINT NICHOLAS 2024 IN ANTWERP
Crowded squares filled with excited children and parents eagerly awaited the arrival of Saint Nicholas’ steamboat once again this year. On Saturday, November 16, the beloved saint, Piet, and the entire entourage made their entrance into the city of Antwerp. The sun made frequent appearances throughout the day, creating an unforgettable experience for both young and old.
STAGE FUN FOR YOUNG AND OLD
On the Steenplein stage, children were treated to an entertaining singing lesson led by Bodo the Forest Ranger, Ramon Iglesias, and Kneta Knieschijf. Even Saint Nicholas and Piet stopped by briefly to watch, before the cheerful parade, featuring glittering floats, departed for Antwerp City Hall.
AN UNFORGETTABLE VISIT
Everything went smoothly as usual, and once again, all the children were well-behaved since there were no naughty children this year!
