New Zealand world war commemoration.

“From the uttermost ends of the Earth”: on Wednesday October 11th 2017, a 14-metre-long Waka manned by Maoris docked on the Castle ditch of the Fortresses next to the Menin Gate. A 90-metre-wide video projection on the Fortress walls commemorated the more than 800 New Zealand soldiers who died in the Third Battle of Ypres. Sylvester was responsible for the complete organisation of this video, live, light and sound spectacle. It became an emotional commemoration with a perfect mix between ceremonial, spiritual and spectacular elements.
