Big News Sails In.

On January 15, 2025, something huge arrived at the Port of Antwerp. Literally. The 60-meter-high cracking furnaces for INEOS’s Project ONE reached their destination after a long journey from Thailand. And this isn’t just any delivery: the project is one of Europe’s largest and most sustainable chemical investments, with a planned start-up in 2026.

A historic moment like this calls for a unique experience. INEOS enlisted us to organize an exclusive Scheldt river cruise for press and stakeholders, allowing them to witness the arrival up close — and first-hand.

From dock to ship: everything on board.

The 100 guests gathered at the Lillo dock, where they were welcomed with a badge and breakfast. Once on board, John McNally took the stage to thank everyone and provide context: why this moment is so crucial for the future of sustainable chemistry in Europe. And then… the furnaces appeared. 60 meters high, imposing, and absolutely impossible to miss.

Flexibility as the guiding principle.

Arrival time? Unpredictable. The furnaces had to travel all the way from Thailand, and the Scheldt sets its own pace. That’s why we worked with a creative approach and multiple scenarios, ensured long-term availability of the boat, and coordinated catering for several possible time slots. Plan A, B, and C? Check.

Anchored on camera.

We captured the entire event with professional video and drone footage. The result? An aftermovie that not only highlights the technical complexity but also showcases the sheer magnitude of the project.

In short: a logistical and visual masterpiece that gave this historic moment the attention it deserved.
