Every year, nearly 7 million Belgians pay their taxes. More than 22.000 civil servants make sure the money comes in, but nobody enjoys paying taxes and the treasury department isn’t very likeable. For the first time in history, the most dreaded governing body in the country opens its doors for a camera team. During one year, camera’s registered every move of ten civil servants at the Federal Department of Finance, producing unseen behind the scenes footage. The civil servants explain how they experience their roles and what it feels like having a job that others are so opinionated about.
